Entry to Aegibong Peace Ecological Park, Starbucks Gimpo Aegibong Ecological Park Branch Siren Order

Visited Aegibong Peace Ecological Park on January 7, 2026.

Ticket Reservation

There is a limit of 200 visitors per hour, starting every day at 9:30 a.m. Entry is allowed until 4:30 p.m.
Therefore, I recommend reserving an admission ticket on the Aegibong Peace Ecological Park website. Payment is made at the time of reservation.
Even so, you still need to pick up your ticket at the ticket office. Be sure to bring your ID!

The adult admission fee is 3,000 won. A 50 percent discount is available for residents of Gimpo, Ganghwa, Paju, and several other areas. For detailed information, please check the Aegibong Peace Ecological Park website.

Aegibong Peace Ecological Park Ticket Office and Shuttle Bus

There is a shuttle bus at the ticket office that goes up to the Peace Ecological Exhibition Hall inside Aegibong Peace Ecological Park. When I picked up my admission ticket at the ticket office, I was told to use my own car, so I did not take the bus.

There is also a walking path from the ticket office to the Peace Ecological Exhibition Hall called the “Deck Road.” The distance is 1.5 kilometers.

An ID is required only at the ticket office. After that, the admission ticket becomes important.

A soldier who appears to be a Marine checks the admission ticket, not your ID. Do not throw it away.

Parking and Starbucks Gimpo Aegibong Ecological Park Branch

I parked on Basement Level 1 of the Peace Ecological Exhibition Hall, went outside through a door, crossed the suspension bridge, and walked toward the Jogang Observatory. There is a Starbucks on the second floor of the Jogang Observatory, which is the Starbucks Gimpo Aegibong Ecological Park Branch.

I ordered a decaf café mocha using Siren Order. There were only a couple of seats available, so I got it to go. I looked out at North Korean territory and the Odusan Unification Observatory from the outdoor area. I did not expect to be able to see the Odusan Unification Observatory. Because North Korean territory looked so close, I checked later and found that the Jogang Observatory is closer to North Korea than the Odusan Unification Observatory.

I drank the decaf café mocha in the designated space on the first floor. This area is quiet and uncrowded.
