Gapyeong Jaraseom – Namdo Flower Garden, Cafe Jaranaru

Jaraseom Namdo is a nice place to take a walk on a cloudy day, enjoying the calm water and flowers. You can walk all the way to Cafe Jaranaru, have a drink, take a rest, and then head back.

I parked on Jungdo and walked past the Namdo Flower Garden to reach Cafe Jaranaru. The café is located on the southern end of Namdo.

It suddenly began to rain heavily, so I stayed at Cafe Jaranaru until it stopped, sipping a black sesame & pine nut latte while looking out at the Bukhan River. The latte cost 7,000 won, and I enjoyed it.

There’s a machine that takes black-and-white photos for free and prints them instantly, making it a nice keepsake.

One downside is that there’s no restroom inside the building, so you should definitely stop by any restroom you see beforehand.
