Seoul Grand Park Zoo is great for both animal viewing and walking exercise! Just avoid visiting when it’s too hot or too cold outside.

‘Seoul Grand Park Zoo’ is not the Seoul Land Zoo. However, since Seoul Land is right next door, I think it often gets mistakenly called the ‘Seoul Land Zoo’.
As of on-site payment, the zoo admission fee is 5,000 won for adults, 2,000 won for children, and 3,000 won for teenagers. Considering the size and all there is to see, I don’t think the entrance fee is expensive at all.

The tiger sculpture is not small and is several times taller than a person.

In South Korea, the panda at Everland in Yongin is more famous than Lancer Panda. Fu Bao is no longer in Korea, but his family remains there. I actually saw Fu Bao while he was in South Korea. I’ll share a video of him next.

There’s a passageway where the leopard can walk back and forth while looking down at visitors below. Whoever came up with it, it’s a brilliant idea. You can actually spot the leopard if you look carefully.

I couldn’t get a good look at the tiger’s face because it was lying down, maybe because it was hot or because it was sleepy after eating.

I bought a cola pop for 5,500 won at the Dolphin Story Pavilion building. I didn’t pour the sauce because some was smeared around the opening of the sauce container. If it had been cleaned properly, I probably would have used it. One good thing is that the cola wasn’t flat.

It would be nice if there were some good restaurants inside Seoul Grand Park Zoo. It feels more run-down than stylish. As of September 8, 2025, it seems best to just buy drinks inside. So, have your meal outside the zoo.
I bought some knife-cut noodles (kalguksu) before getting home.

Location & Parking
The official road address of Seoul Grand Park Zoo is 102 Daegongwon-gwangjang-ro, Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do.
Personally, I recommend parking at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (Gwacheon) parking lot and walking to the zoo’s North Gate. The Gwacheon parking lot is paid. When using navigation, set the destination as “National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Gwacheon Parking Lot” instead of Seoul Grand Park Zoo.
As of November 24, 2025, Naver Maps shows it as the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Gwacheon parking lot, while Google Maps shows it as Samgeori Parking Lot.
